Clatterbox Stork

I had originally made this as a marionette, but re-worked it to be a mechanical "toy." Turning a wheel makes its beak clatter and its wings move. I was making a series of bird sculptures when I learned that White Storks do not vocalize; they clutter their beaks to communicate. I was fascinated to learn this and made this clatterer. The nestlings are human babies.
